Two documents, attached. First (parchment, 62 x 70.5 cm.): Exemplification of probate of the will of Orlando Jones, deceased. Extracted by Nathaniel Robarts proctor, Doctor's Common. Dated 13 February 1851. Second (paper, folded to 32 cm.): document regarding letters patent issued to Jones by the United States in 1841 for improvements in the manufacture of starch, and appointing an executor in the United States. Both documents endorsed, on verso, by Thomas Aspinall, U.S. consul to Great Britain.
